Peek at the Past (07/14) 75 YEARS AGO-1935
The annual Finseth-Brandvold reunion was held Sunday, July 7, at the Kenyon Golf club. The Finseth group of families of this community were on this occasion hosts to the groups from the various other communities. This was the fifth consecutive annual reunion and it marked the 80th anniversary of the coming of the four Finseth brothers from Rock Prairie, Wis., into this immediate locality where they established their permanent abode.

A Peek at the Past (05/12) 75 YEARS AGO-1935
The Kenyon VFW baseball team lost its opening game of the season to the strong Rochester team last Sunday 5 to 0 on the local diamond. The game was featured by the stellar hurling of “Peanuts” Miller veteran Rochester pitcher, who allowed the Kenyon batsmen only 3 scattered hits. •The Degree of Honor held its annual Mothers’ and Daughters’ banquet at the home of Mrs. H. E. Bergh on Tuesday evening this week. There were 55 mothers and daughters present.
